Win Your Dream Job With This Portfolio Tip

Here's how to win your next job, even if you don't have direct experience in the role — use a portfolio.

Watch the video above.

But take note ...

The portfolio should be more than just a collection of what you have done in the past — it should also include a collection of where you want to go.

This is where most portfolios fail.

They fail when they only show past accomplishments.

If you want a job in an area where you have little or no experience, then your portfolio has to demonstrate keen interest and skill in the role you want to win.

So do personal projects to demonstrate this interest and skill and include them prominently in your portfolio.
